I was taking a Children's Book Illustration MA course and was preparing for my graduate show. My classmate suggested I needle-felt the characters in my children's stories for my graduation exhibition. My first ever felted creation was the Lili doll, which is the character of my debut children's book. After that, I started needle-felting characters from some of my favourite stories. It wasn't long before I started creating my own designs. When I'm not illustrating, I'm usually needle-felting. I really enjoy coming up with new ideas for accessories, household deco items and jewelry. I think the art of needle-felting is really versatile and you are only limited by your imagination!
